Wild garden in the sunshine

It’s messy & a bit crowded, but I’m loving the spring garden right now. I left some brassicas to go to seed, and discovered they did a great job acting as decoys for the cabbage moth butterflies that were hanging around. There were tonnes of eggs on the ropey old bolted plants, but the tuscan kale & broccoli were untouched. I just pulled out the egg-laden plants & binned them – nice low intervention pest control.
