A spring day in the garden

I finally planted out the turmeric & the cassava cuttings in the raised beds at the back (Mr B kindly surrounded them with a makeshift chicken wire fence, as the cassava cuttings are way too tempting for the pup).

I also potted the comfrey cuttings, and re-potted some mint & thyme we picked up on sale at Aldi yesterday.

I found some Jiffy peat pots in the garage, and used them to get some capsicum, eggplant, cucumber, tomato & zucchini seeds. I also planted a sprouting choko directly into the ground with a handful of worm castings. If it comes up strong, we’ll train it up the post at the back of the patio.

After giving everything a good watering & some seaweed tonic, I declared a job well done.
