DIY veggie bed!

Here’s a small pic of the first of Mr B’s 2 homemade 3m x 1m veggie beds. The second-hand corrogated iron was purchased from Reverse Garbage, the treated timber is new. We’re going to line the beds to prevent any leaching from the iron. Mr B built this prototype in our new garage… it will need to be taken apart again to be reassembled in the front yard. A trip to the hardware to buy ‘proper’ garden tools is on the cards. I also need source several cubic metres of lucerne hay, straw, manure & compost. No dig veggie patch, here we come… very very excited.

Love the new veggie bed! I use raised beds made from wood. I’m going to post soon and think you’ll really like it. I love the look of yours with the metal.

Thanks Tammy!

We have both beds set up in their position now, but I have to work this weekend, so may not be able to get them properly filled for another week. I look forward to seeing yours 🙂
